Young Elected Officials stand together to say #HateWontWin.
The Young Elected Officials Network staff and our members across the country are expressing our profound sadness at the events that have transpired at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this weekend. The senseless taking of 11 innocent lives and injuring of 6 is a tragic end to a week filled with acts of terror rooted in the divisions that have become an unfortunate hallmark of our national discourse. We stand together with Pittsburghers and our Jewish neighbors to reject the hatred, anti-semitism and xenophobia that are the apparent motivation for this brazen attack. We offer our support to the elected officials who are working to guide their communities through this tragedy in the difficult days to come.
