“Those of us in the progressive community are energized to fight back against policies that divide us,” said Svante Myrick, Ithaca Mayor and director of youth leadership programs at People For the American Way Foundation. “This year’s National Convening built upon the power of young leaders and allowed our members to meet new partners so they could leave with something meaningful to take back to their communities. It is inspiring to see the work our young leaders have done in this critical year to build a progressive agenda across the country. ”
