Justice Matters, in conjunction with the YEO Network, hosted a policy retreat for young elected officials interested in creating racially just education policies in their communities.

Using innovative research and original training, YEOs deconstructed what is “racial justice” and “racial injustice” in public education. Justice Matters presented YEOs the concepts, ideas, and values involved in their Racial Justice Education Framework (RJEF), and provide materials, curriculum and training on a racial justice approach to public education policy creation.
