The Young Elected Officials Network held a planning meeting in Washington, D.C., bringing together members of its host committee to evaluate the progress of the Network and plan for its continued success. In addition to the business meeting, YEOs also met with union representatives and political leaders, creating a relationship with fellow progressive organizations to invest in a progressive future for America.

The business meeting held on September 19th at the National Education Association began with a review of the resources PFAW Foundation has to offer members of the Network. Host Committee members used program evaluations to gain insight into the needs and wants of the YEOs and discussed strategy about how the Network can better serve young officials nationwide.
